The Assmann Foundation for Prevention - Saving lives through research and information

Prevention is better than cure: this wise old saying is more valid today than ever before, for you and your whole family. It is the aim of the Assmann Foundation for Prevention to promote research and the education of the public with special focus on prevention.

Prevention and health promotion improves your health, quality of life, mobility and fitness. The life expectancy of many people can be prolonged through the detection of  early stadiums of diseases, for example by means of health check-ups, heart attack tests or other screening examinations and early therapies.

Who and what does the Foundation promote?

The foundation supports cardiovascular top research. A further step for promotion is the education of the public concerning the chances of medical prevention for health  preservation. So-called “Days of Prevention” are organized and financially supported by the foundation.
